Hands-on Training

Hands-on training is only offered at in-person shows.

Please bring a bending block, straight edge, or vice to the training class. Feel free to bring any equipment that you might want comments on or have problems with. For those participating in the certification please bring any other tools need to repair a damaged shear one might encounter. Practice shears will be provided for the bending setting portion of training.

Having certification on the first day allows us to return shears to the participants and allow them to make the changes required to achieve the highest level possible. This is the first of its kind and we hope this will make a difference. Remember we are all here to learn and it has always been our experience that we learn best from our mistakes.

  1. Hi Carlo, all you have to do is fill out the “2016 Attendee Registration” form and send it in to us! If you have any further questions of concerns, go ahead and email us daniel@passionbeauty.com ! We look forward to seeing you at this years show!

  2. Hi Ralph, the show has a good mixture of professionals, beginners, and everywhere in between. We pride ourselves on providing the opportunity to network and learn from some of the best in the industry as well as to better those more advanced sharpeners. Our hands-on classes are great for learning new skills or perfecting an already known skill. We do hope you consider attending IBSA in the future and if you have any further questions, please email info@ibsa.me
