The IBSA Team understands that this is new territory for a few of you. Below we’ve included a list of the best practices that will help you have the best virtual experience!

How do I ask questions?

Ask questions through the chat! The best way to submit your questions is through the Zoom chat function. If you’re on your laptop click “CHAT” on the bottom of your screen. If you’re on your phone click “MORE” in the meeting controls, then “CHAT”

I see everyone in the Zoom call but I just want to see the speaker!

Change the “VIEW,” if you’re on a computer choose “SPEAKER/GALLERY VIEW” on the top right of your screen. If you’re on a mobile device, go to your meeting controls and the select “SPEAKER/GALLERY VIEW”

My question wasn’t answered, what can I do?

Not all speakers will have enough time to answer all questions but don’t worry! Leave your question in the chat, we will be going through all unanswered questions after the show and posting answers online for your convenience.

I thought of a question after the show, can I contact the speaker/exhibitor?

Most speakers and exhibitors provide contact information if you want to get ahold of them. By clicking on each exhibitor logo on the home page, you can see their contact information. Speakers’ contact information will be provided under the “Participating Speakers 2020” tab, if there is no information provided then they may have decided to keep their information private. You can always contact us at and we can forward your question to the speaker.

Everything’s blurry! What do I do?

Stay connected! Be sure you’re in a location where your best connected to the internet. If you notice your WiFi is at one bar, you should move to a different room/area.

Will the meeting be recorded?

Yes! The meeting will be recorded. 5-10 business days after the show we will send out links to the video, only allowing one time access to view. Downloading the video is not permitted.

What if I missed something and want to watch the recording multiple times?


Can’t I just record the show on another app?

No. Any attendee caught screen-recording or recording from device will be immediately removed from the show. No refunds given.

When can I expect my link to the show?

Attendees can expect an email with unique log-in information on Sunday, 11/8/20. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam and junk folders.

I checked all folders and still haven’t found my link to the show, what do I do?

If you have not received your link, contact us at or 1-800-362-7071. Our offices will be open from 8:00AM PST – 5:00PM PST.

What happens if I share my link with multiple people?

Do NOT share your credentials with anyone. If your credentials are used on different computers the host will eject both users.

I’m having difficulties accessing the show? I need help!

If you are having problems during the show, don’t worry! Contact an IBSA Board Member to help you with any technical difficulties. If we can’t find a solution, don’t forget that a recorded version of the show will also be accessible to you.
